How to play Beamwright

Steer a red laser across an optical table. Turn mirrors and beam splitters until the beam lights every detector, on endless generated benches. A free logic puzzle for your browser.

Turn the mirrors so the beam passes through every detector on the table. Each turn swings a mirror 90°. Beam splitters (the glass cubes) reflect half the beam and let half through, and posts stop it. Every bench has at least one solution; par is the number of turns that solution takes. Your highest aligned bench goes on the leaderboard.

Turn it 90°

Arrow keys + Space or Enter

Move the cursor, turn the mirror under it

D-pad or left stick + A

Move the cursor, turn the mirror (gamepad)

Reset button / Start

Put the bench back as it started

Next bench button / Y

Go to the next bench once aligned
